The VMA's have been a real bore the past couple of years and Russell Brand made it interesting again. I like him. He's quick, clever, and truly outrageous. Very genuine and unique. Casting call to be held for the Motion Picture adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel “Dear John”.

ALL TYPES AND AGES NEEDED TO WORK AS BACKGROUND

A romantic drama about a soldier who falls in love with a conservative college student while home on leave, “Dear John” will be filmed in the Charleston and Edisto areas. 

Actor Channing Tatum will play the character lead of John Tyree.  Tatum is known for his roles in “G.I. Joe”, “Stop Loss” ,“She’s the Man” and “Step Up”.  Actress Amanda Seyfried of “Mamma Mia!” and “Big Love”  will play his love interest, Savannah Curtis.

The film is to be directed by the oscar-nominated Director Lasse Hallstrom whose credits include such films as “Chocolat”, “The Cider House Rules”, “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” and “Something to Talk About.”  Filming is slated to begin mid October.

Extras Casting director Tona Dahlquist (of “Leatherheads”, “Forrest Gump” and “Radio”) states that ALL TYPES AND AGES ARE NEEDED to work as background. They are also seeking many men with Military Experience, males and females of College Age and men of Middle Eastern descent.

Those interested in applying must BRING A NON-RETURNABLE CURRENT SNAPSHOT OF THEMSELVES. “Photos can can be a basic snapshot printed off a computer or even a Polaroid”

HI, I consider myself a very openminded gal. (Not that open if you were thinking of anything that should go in the trash column.) I was willing to give the new show a chance before I cast judgment. Now it is time to judge---I DON'T LIKE IT. I tried to sit though the jokes to nowhere and the dead air ( I guess giving us time to laugh at all the "funny" talk.) It was horrible. The last straw was when they began talking about East Carolina.  Before "the change" I would listen to wnok to hear Kelly and Rush and switch to B106.7 for the news. My job does not allow me to listen to the radio while I work, so I can only listen during my drive. Well as of tomorrow I will only listen to B106.7. Thanks for making that decision easy! I'll check Trash when I get home.

For the past 3 years I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to Jonathan and Kelly on my morning commute.  The fact that the show has been on for so many years is a testament to the shows quality of entertainment.  However, I was a huge fan of the Ace & TJ show when it aired a few years ago on another local channel. I was furious, like so many of you,  that I couldn't hear their show when they were taken off the air and the station changed to a country format.  That is when I started listening to "The Morning Rush".  I would have missed so much enjoyment had I not given a new show a chance. I will truely miss Jonathan and wish him the best of luck with his new show, and will miss hearing the banter between him and Kelly.  My point being that if you will all just give Ace & TJ a chance I'm sure you will find their show to be great, as well.  They are not only outragiously funny but do alot of good things too.  Their "Grin Kids" charity is awsome.  They do so much to help these children and are a true blessing for doing so.  I hate to see Jonathan leave the station but also welcome Ace & TJ back to the area.  It's understandable that alot of you are upset by this change.  Change is always hard and usually unwelcome, but those of you who chose not to give something new a chance will be missing so much.  Open your minds and accept what you cannot change.  I promise you will be glad you did!!

I'm not an irregular Morning Rush fan. I stopped listening to morning radio habitually when I got a CD player and an MP3 player. I prefer music.

Seriously, it's about time for him to go and for something new to come to Columbia. It's not shocking they had to pull from Charlotte. I'm sure this won't last long, South Cackalackiennes generally don't get smart funny or funny period. Too uptight, conservative, tunnel vision, and we still are a good ole boy stay..some have had to go underground but they are still here.

Now to Denise...I don't completely get the dislike people have for her. I watched her show and so what if she has a potty mouth...this doesn't show she's not a good mom. It just shows what she prolly turned into while married to Charlie Sheen. 

I'm sure anyone who gets involved with this Fruitcake loses some tack. But seriously, they're just bad words. It's not like putting down the mother of your children profusely thru the media like he has. Also I think she is way more entertaining than the Kardashians, Big Brother, Survivor Island, and any other crap reality show out ther. I think she was completley who she is on her show. 

Charlie Sheen is clearly an arrogant, ego driven, tool of a little boy in a man's body. I used to like him and thought he got a bad rap for his behavior but now I'm thinking he's a complete fruitcake.   

I like SamLo.

These guys hang out of their boat from a mile away with telephoto lenses to zoom in on her, and it’s her fault for taking her top off (in the middle of the ocean) and sun bath?  I think it's more than a little harsh to say that celebrities deserve this type of treatment.  Why is it ok for someone to camp out on your lawn in camouflage gear to get pictures of your children or to call in a fire in your neighborhood to get you to run out with your newborn?  Why is it ok for them to be so far away, where you can’t retaliate and still get the big bucks for these pictures??  These people are no better than stalkers and celebrities can do something about stalkers, but not photographers.  Yes I understand it's a double edged sword, but when you see video of someone walking out of a club with so many camera flashes going off that they can’t see, it makes you a bit disgusted...

If I went out in the backyard and sunbathed topless, no one would be the wiser, nor would they care (except maybe the jet pilots who get blinded by the flash of light reflecting off me) but because she's a 'celebrity' she gets blasted...
